Alexandrea J. Pawlowski is our newest attorney. Alex’s practice focuses mostly on estate planning, including preparing wills, durable powers of attorney and revocable trusts. She also handles small estate affidavits, various probate petitions, and trust administration.
Alex was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She loves sports, especially football.
During the course of her academic career, Alex held executive positions in law societies. As the Social Chair for Entertainment, Arts and Sports Law Society for 2 years, she coordinated multiple panels which consisted of various agents and sports attorneys. She was nominated team captain in the Tulane Football Contract Negotiation Competition where she led her team in negotiating NFL contract salaries while abiding with the salary cap. Alex also served as Treasurer and Vice President of the Women in Law Society.
Alex has experience in Guardianships and Conservatorships from working in the Charleston County Probate Court, evictions with the Charleston Housing Court, and various civil liberties while working for the ACLU of South Carolina.
Before law school, Alex worked for the River City Rascals in stadium operations where she gained experience in Minor League Baseball. She also oversaw and singlehandedly prepared multiple college baseball games in their stadium. Before that she was a sports coordinator at Mizzou Rec where she supervised a team of referees and was responsible for daily reports and opening and closing the facilities. Alex is also a former state certified referee for Missouri high schools, and strategic communications intern for Show Me State Games, where she managed all the marketing and statistics for the sports and athletes.
